Silchester Players

What's On

Sing On!

Our next production will be "Sing On!" - a comedy by Rick Abbott. This is the sequel to our hugely successful 2006 production "Play On!".

Once again, the Chestersil Players are in dire financial circumstances and consent to perform another play by Phyllis Montague. This time Phyllis is joined by her nephew Monte to write a musical tribute to Queen Elizabeth I. The intrepid thespians know that disaster will probably result. It may be tough to act on a sinking ship but can you sing as waters rise! Welcome to yet another chapter in the lives of this harried community theatre group.

Auditions are on Friday 2nd July 2010 at Silchester Village Hall at 7.30pm. For further information please contact John and Gill Coffin on 0118 932522. If you are interested in taking part please come along and read for a part on the 2nd.

Production dates will be 8th, 9th, 15th and 16th October 2010.
